Notice Description

Dumfries & Galloway Council will be carrying out a mechanical & electrical refurbishment to Park Primary School, Ashwood Drive, Stranraer which will include but not limited to point for point replacement light fittings throughout the school, replacing boilers, heating pipework, radiators along with hot and cold water services in a phased plan including decoration and new floor coverings. At the same time the nursery will also be undertaking a refurbishment & upgrade to accommodate the increase in nursery provision as outlined by Scottish Government for 1140hrs. This will include but not be limited to revised layout, new small power & data, new lighting, new boilers, heating pipework, radiators, hot & cold water services, partitions, floor coverings, decoration, outdoor playground i.e. Planting, pergola, turfing etc. There will be a decant facility located within the playground allowing for permanent decant of the nursery and phased decant of classrooms throughout the works project, so phasing of the works will require to be facilitated and coordinated by the principal contractor.
