The scope of the DAC group purchasing scheme is an acquisition model offering members automatic discount off product list prices, transparent banded pricing, and increasing discounts based on volume of sales generated.

Jisc has entered into contract with the detailed suppliers to provide a Digital Archival Collections group purchasing scheme. This group purchasing scheme is available to any supplier that is able to meet the requirements previously provided within the published PIN and VEAT. The scope of the DAC group purchasing scheme is an acquisition model offering members automatic discount off product list prices, transparent banded pricing, and increasing discounts based on volume of sales generated. Should further suppliers contact Jisc to state that they are eligible to join the group purchasing scheme then Jisc may seek to publish further VEATs accordingly. The service is being contracted on behalf of our members, not for Jisc's own use. The contract will be for 1 year. Additional information: The contract value is an estimate based on the aggregate sum of licence fees (in perpetuity) that will be paid to the supplier by Jisc member institutions over the one year term of the contract. Jisc itself makes no payment to the supplier for this service
