The procurement involves a budget for a 5-year contract amounting to approximately £25k to £75k annually. The Council plans to engage a single provider over a 5-year term for this service. Companies proficient in repair and maintenance services of electrical building installations, solar energy, and solar panel roof-covering work would be well-suited to compete. The anticipated spend and the Council's preferred strategy of a long-term contract indicate stability and potential for growth for the selected provider. The soft market test phase offers a chance for interested parties to engage and showcase their capabilities before the formal procurement process begins.
