The aim of the contract is the administration of a single, integrated Research Funding Scheme, with two researcher-led call arms and a new commissioned arm, and two application, assessment and award points each contract year. In addition, bidders are invited to provide costs for additional ad hoc commissioned calls that may be run on a 'call-off' basis. The successful bidder will also be required to administer the grant management of live awards for the duration of the contract.",
