Essex University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT), and Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust (MSEFT) are the two main NHS provider organisations in the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System (the MSE ICS) serving a population of 1.2 million. Both Trusts have an urgent need to replace their existing Electronic Patient Record systems (EPR). Both organisations are at outline business case stage of their programmes and are collaborating on the option of a unified EPR solution. To inform the OBC development to March 2023, and in readiness for procurement during FY 2023/24, the trusts now wish to consult with potential suppliers on the viability of a unified EPR solution.
