Notice Description

Project POYNTING will deliver a first-in-class tactical CEMA Capability to Land Forces. The project is aligned with the Army Executive Committee endorsed Army Cyber Sub-Strategy and is to be delivered as part of the Land CEMA Programme (LCP). This capability will grow with the pace of change in global technology and adapt to global threats. The Authority is holding an Industry Day for interested suppliers where further details regarding the project will be briefed. The Industry Day will be held on Wednesday 5th April 2023 at Army HQ, Marlborough Lines, Andover, SP11 8JH, arrival from 09.00 am with the brief starting 10:00 am BST. This day will be split into an OFFICIAL SENSITIVE brief in the morning and a SECRET in the afternoon. Further details will be released prior to the day. Please note, attendance is limited to a maximum of two employees per Company and only one division of a Company. Depending on final attendee numbers, the Authority may have to restrict attendance further to one employee per Company. All attendees will need to have UK SC clearance as a minimum to attend this Industry Day. If you would like to attend the Industry Day, please express your interest via email to Kate.French103@mod.gov.uk. Interested parties should respond no later than 17:00pm GMT 13th March 2022 and provide the following details: - The full first and last names of each employee who are nominated to attend (eg: no nicknames, Michael instead of Mike etc.). - Date of birth (for each individual) - E-mail address and contact telephone number (for each individual). - Security Clearance level held (SC/DV - for each individual). - Security Clearance details (to be provided by the Company security officer). -Vehicle Registration Number (for each individual). If attending in the same car or if the VRN is not yet known, please inform Kate French. - RLI email address The Authority reserves the right to take a discretionary view for responses received after this period. In addition, the Authority reserves the right to restrict or refuse attendance where deemed appropriate to do so. Details of the day will be issued closer to the event. Prospective suppliers will be required to hold UK List X status at Contract Award. Tenderer's will be required to hold a minimum of SC clearance to have access to ITN documentation. Before you apply to attend the Industry Day, please consider your ability to meet these requirements. The Authority may at its sole discretion amend and/ or cancel this early market engagement/ subsequent procurement process or withdraw this PIN at any time for any reason.
