    "description": "It is necessary to modify the existing term after the extension period that ends in November 2025, by a further 24 months, until November 2027. This extension will run alongside the implementation of a new commercial transplantation system by the Welsh Blood Service and will support the organisational need to ensure that the Service remains in control and safe from a regulatory and Welsh population health perspective, in the delivery of key blood components and transplantation results, to the patients of Wales. The modification will provide sufficient time for the required procurement to be progressed and for essential maintenance to be undertaken.
