Leasing of Vehicles and Telematics System via Contract Hire

Notice Description

At present GTR run a fleet of 87 Diesel vehicles consisting primarily of 18 Large, 24 Medium, 16 Small and 2 Micro Panel Vans as well as 3 large, and 19 Medium passenger cars. Although our aim is still to reduce the environmental impact of the fleet of road vehicles we run, we acknowledge that market conditions and GTR's infrastructure for EV charging may not allow GTR to change all of its vehicles to electric/hybrid versions at this time, GTR's requirements are a combination of diesel and hybrid vehicles. The vehicle requirements will be separated into 2 lots. To allow GTR to select the most suitable vehicle for each activity this requirement. An additional Lot is included for a telematics system to assist in managing the fleet and understanding the vehicle utilisation. The telematic system is being tendered as is a separate Lot to allow the vehicle Lots to be awarded independently whilst also ensuring a standardisation for the telematics.

Lot Information

Euro 6 Diesel Panel Van

36 month lease for Large, Medium, Small and Micro Panels vans of various wheelbases and heights with specific options all as detailed within the tender pack. All leases will be on a Contract Hire basis.

Options: GTR is expecting the leases of the fleet to commence at different times over a period of months. To aid with aligning the end dates of the vehicles GTR may extend the lease of certain vehicles for up to an additional 12 months period.

Renewal: GTR is expecting the leases of the fleet to commence at different times over a period of months. To aid with aligning the end dates of the vehicles GTR may extend the lease of certain vehicles for up to an additional 12 months period.

Self-Charging Hybrid Cars

36 month lease for medium and small Self Charging Hybrid passenger cars, with specific options all as detailed within the tender pack. All leases will be on a Contract Hire basis.

Options: GTR is expecting the leases of the fleet to commence at different times over a period of months. To aid with aligning the end dates of the vehicles GTR may extend the lease of certain vehicles for up to an additional 12 months period.

Telematic system

The telematics system to be offered under Lot 3 will be provided for the total number of vehicles procured by GTR under Lots 1 and 2 currently envisaged as being 87 in total, on a 3-year closed end lease and is to be fully inclusive of all hardware, installation, software licencing, Software as a Service (SaaS) costs and removal costs at the end of the lease period.

The lease/ contract hire of Full Electric Cars

The leasing or Contract hire of Hatchback, Estate, & 4x4 Full Electric Cars. Additional information: Prices will be obtained for different variants on electric cars. GTR will then order the required quantity of each type of car. GTR do not guarantee the quantity of vehicles or types of vehicles to be ordered from each lot.

The lease/contract hire of Self Charging Hybrid Cars

The leasing or Contract hire of Hatchback, Estate, & 4x4 Self Charging Hybrid Cars. Additional information: Prices will be obtained for different variants on electric cars. GTR will then order the required quantity of each type of car. GTR do not guarantee the quantity of vehicles or types of vehicles to be ordered from each lot.

The provision of a Telematics system to be fitted to all vehicles

Supply and install Telematic System in to Vans & Cars. Additional information: GTR will order the required quantity of systems for each type of car or van. GTR do not guarantee the quantity of vehicles or types of vehicles that will be require to have telematics installed.
