Notice Description
Contract award or a scheduled maintenance services contract to Clarke Energy Ltd to cover the Jenbacher combined heating and power (CHP) engines based in Kings Buildings Energy Centre.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition in accordance with Regulation 33 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 or Regulation 6 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016. The works, supplies and services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: absence of competition for technical reasons. The Contractor is the only UK approved supplier of Jenbacher original equipment manufacturer parts required for maintenance and overhaul works. Additional information: Contract value includes an estimate for reactive call-outs over life of contract. Prior to expiry: Feasibility study to determine best option once engine reaches end of technical life.
Procurement Information
The Jenbacher engines are covered by the manufacturer's warranty up to their technical end of life providing the engine is serviced and maintained strictly in line with manufacturer's recommendations and using OEM parts.
