Summary of the contracting process

The Griffin Schools Trust, a Ministry or any other national or federal authority in the Education sector, has initiated a tender for the refurbishment of 2 sets of boys' and girls' toilets to allow for unisex facilities at Park Lane School in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The project, valued at £100,000 GBP, is to be completed by the beginning of the June 2024 academic year. The procurement process involves an open procedure with electronic submission, and the tender period ends on July 31, 2023, with the bid opening scheduled for the same date.

This tender opportunity presents potential for construction contractors experienced in refurbishment works to engage in a Design and Build contract framework. Businesses capable of delivering to specification, managing project timelines efficiently, and meeting the client's enhanced DBS certificate requirements would be well-suited to compete. The procurement process is geared towards selecting a contractor who offers the most economically advantageous tender while ensuring compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
