The MDT should be led by an Accredited Landscape Architect, Urban Designer or Streetscape specialist, with relevant experience in the design of high quality, multi-functional public spaces. Heritage expertise is also essential to ensure that the design respects and responds to the historic environment as well as providing opportunities for storytelling and public art. The MDT shall act as Principal Designer for the Scheme to ensure all construction and engineering risks are dealt with in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (\"CDM Regulations 2015\"), and a pre-construction phase Health and Safety file is compiled for a smooth handover to the construction phase. It is intended that the successful supplier is retained beyond the Design Stage to provide NEC contract management and ongoing project support during the delivery of the subsequent Public Realm construction works.",
