ESCC-HP-Planned Maintenance Framework
Notice Description
East Sussex County Council (ESCC) and Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) are seeking applications from suitably qualified and interested organisations for a range of facilities management services. This will include the procurement of a planned maintenance Framework. The works are required for the participating authorities assets which mainly include schools and corporate buildings, but excludes Housing and Highways. A prior information notice (PIN) was issued on 10.08.2023 and the reference is 2023/S 000-023332. The Councils held a market engagement event in September 2023 as part of its pre-procurement activity. Information regarding this events is published with the procurement documents. The disciplines required are as follows: Lot A- Mechanical Services Lot B- Electrical Services Lot C- Roofing Works Lot D- Building Works up to PS100k Lot E- Building Works Generally above PS100k - PS250k Lot F- Building Works Generally above PS250k - PS1m Lot G- Asbestos Removal - Planned and Reactive Works
Lot Information
Lot 1
East Sussex County Council (ESCC) and Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) and are looking to establish new arrangements to support the delivery of our planned maintenance works. The works that may be included in the scope of any future procurement are: -- planned works, -- mechanical services planned works, -- electrical services planned works, -- roofing planned works, -- building planned, -- asbestos removal planned, The Councils wish to undertake market engagement to understand the following and inform future delivery and any procurement activity: 1) Current market interest and capacity; 2) Factors affecting successful delivery; 3) Appropriate procurement models and structures; 4) Value for money and commercial considerations; 5) Social value inc. employment and environmental considerations. The market engagement event will be held virtually via TEAMS on Monday 18th September at 10am. Please register you interest by downloading and completing the market engagement form and uploading as requested. The main scope of the contracts is for works to our corporate buildings and schools. Subject to market engagement and further strategic planning this procurement may be divided into Lots. Details on how to engage with the Councils are included in Section VI): Complementary information. This is not a call for competition a separate Contract Notice will be published when a procurement procedure commences. The information given in this notice is only demonstrative of current arrangements and provided in order for interested organisations to understand the potential scope. The Councils make no guarantee that any or all of the services and scope detailed in the notice will be included in the same format in any future procurement.
