Scottish Procurement is considering establishing a framework for the provision of Intelligent Automation (IA) Services which will be available to Scottish Government agencies and directorates and other Scottish public sector organisations and third sector bodies. The scope of this collaborative arrangement is still being developed but it is likely to include intelligent automation training and development, including coaching and mentoring of staff in IA; intelligent automation software and licencing; technical support; consultancy and expert support and assistance although this may be subject to change as the strategy develops.

In order to complete and finalise the strategy, Scottish Procurement recognises the value of suppliers and industry bodies having the opportunity to contribute to this process on a non-competitive, non-judgemental basis. To assist with this, Scottish Procurement has drafted a Request for Information (RfI) and suppliers and other interested parties should read, complete and return the RfI attached to this notice and provide their views/comments to Lisa Pittman (lisa.pittman@gov.scot) by midday on 21 September 2023. This notice is issued for information only and does not constitute a call for competition. Following receipt of the comments mentioned above, Scottish Procurement may engage directly with interested suppliers to obtain further market intelligence.
