Notice Description
The Authority is establishing a multi supplier framework agreement for Pre-Operative Skin Preparation Equipment and Consumables which are used as part of the prepping process prior to surgery, for example shaving the patient, marking the patient, and cleaning the hands of the medical staff. The scope of this framework includes Surgical Skin Marker Pens; Pre-Operative Surgical Scrub Brushes & Accessories and fixed and pivoting head Pre-Operative Surgical Hair Clippers. The Framework Agreement is for the following Lot(s): 1 Pre-Operative Hair Removal (including single-use razors) 2 Pre-Operative Surgical Skin Marker Pens 3 Pre-Operative Surgical Scrub Brushes & Accessories 4 Pre-Operative Surgical Hair Clippers (including replacement heads and blades)

Pre-Operative Hair Removal
Pre-Operative Razors are for the removal of body hair prior to patient monitoring or surgery. Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents Additional information: We received no bids for this lot during the tender stage and thus no supplier has been awarded to it.
Surgical Skin Marker PensSurgical Skin Marker Pens are to be utilised by clinical staff, in order to accurately mark the skin of a patient prior to and during surgery. Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
Pre-Operative Surgical Scrub Brushes & AccessoriesSurgical Scrub Brushes are to be utilised by Theatre staff, to ensure optimal pre-operative hygiene for hands, knuckles, lower arm, nails and wrists and reduce the risk of surgical site infection in patients. The brushes may be supplied dry or Impregnated with Chlorhexidine or Povidone-Iodine solutions. Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
Pre-Operative Surgical Hair Clippers- Fixed and PivotingThe surgical clippers should be able to cut hair close to the patient's skin whilst maintaining the skins integrity. This Lot is to include the Surgical Hair Clipper Unit, Charger Unit and Replacement Heads and Blades. Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents
