Notice Description

SCTS utilise a Case Management System, COPII, which provides data on all criminal cases within the Scottish justice sector as well as handling non-court fines. The current support and development contract signed in 2020 is due for expiry on 1st May 2024. The COPII application was initially developed in 2003 and is an Oracle based system residing on a SUN/Solaris platform. Additional .Net & C# code provides public facing interfaces. SCTS are seeking a contract which covers fixed price application support and development for the current COPII application. The service is to be delivered in alignment with the ITIL framework and SCTS security policies and procedures.

SCTS utilise a Case Management System, COPII, which provides data on all criminal cases within the Scottish justice sector as well as handling non-court fines. The current support and development contract signed in 2020 is due for expiry on 1st May 2024. The COPII application was initially developed in 2003 and is an Oracle based system residing on a SUN/Solaris platform. Additional .Net & C# code provides public facing interfaces. SCTS are seeking a contract which covers fixed price application support and development for the current COPII application. The service is to be delivered in alignment with the ITIL framework and SCTS security policies and procedures. Support: Live services support using ITIL Service Management practices to underpin service delivery. To include production support to applications and delivery of on-going change in business-critical environments. Service Management - ITIL service and technical management practices including an incident management system with clear escalation paths. Technical Support - Code, Oracle & Reporting 3rd line support. DBA support services. Software patching. Monitoring and Event Management - Performance monitoring and event management to systematically observe services to record and report changes of states identified as events Development: Development - Fixed price development based on a standard rate card for provided and agreed statement of works. Release Management - A release schedule is to be used to document the timing for releases. A post-implementation review is required to enable learning and improvement. Test Management - All releases to be tested on non-production environments prior to release.
