Summary of the contracting process

Translink, a public transportation company based in Belfast, United Kingdom, is planning to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Bus and Coach Parts under Regulation 52 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. The DPS, valued at £4,000,000 GBP, will allow for preapproved Economic Operators to provide goods in smaller, more efficient batches. The DPS is expected to open for expressions of interest in Q1 2024, with the first mini competitions scheduled for Q2 2024.

This tender by Translink presents an opportunity for businesses specialising in supplying spare parts for goods vehicles, vans, and cars to participate in the market engagement exercise and potentially secure contracts through the upcoming mini competitions. Companies with expertise in producing and delivering bus and coach parts are well-suited to compete.
