YPO - 001242 Supply of First Aid and Medical Supplies
Notice Description
YPO are looking for Providers to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for the supply of First Aid and Medical Supplies for use primarily in the education market. This Framework is designed to meet the needs of all public sector organisations which includes YPO's internal requirements by establishing an agreement for Providers to deliver stock both into YPO's distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and deliver to YPO customers on a direct basis whereby the end customer places the order with YPO and YPO places the order with the Provider, but the Provider delivers direct to the end customer. YPO also wish to establish an agreement where the end customer will place orders directly with the Provider on a "contract" basis and the Provider will deliver direct to the end customer on an agreed basis.
Lot Information
Lot 1 - First Aid Products
Lot 1 is for the provision of first aid products and will be a mix of goods to be delivered into YPO's distribution centre in Wakefield and direct to the end user.
Options: The Framework Agreement will cover the period from 15th July 2024 to 14th July 2026 with options to extend for an additional 12 months. The first decision to extend the contract period will be taken by the end of April 2026 and will be dependent on satisfactory completion of all aspects of the contract to date, the current market conditions for this category and YPO's contracting structures. The maximum contract period will therefore be 4 years from 15th July 2024 to 14th July 2028 (subject to an annual review, incorporating price negotiations and KPI performance).
Renewal: There is a possibility that this framework will be subject to renewal after 3.5 years from the commencement date.
Lot 2 - DefibrilationLot 2 is for the provision of defibrillation products to be delivered direct to the end user
Options: The Framework Agreement will cover the period from 15th July 2024 to 14th July 2026 with options to extend for an additional 12 months.
