Notice Description
The scope of the framework covers the full range of various sizes and types of products that are used to close wounds or tissue approximation. Including: sutures, haemostats, tissue adhesives, suture needles, skin staplers and wound closure strips. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be circa PS87,800,000 in the first year of this Framework Agreement; however, this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. The estimated value of the total Framework Agreement term will be circa PS400,000,000. The Framework Agreement between NHS Supply Chain and successful suppliers will reserve the right to purchase the same or similar supplies and/or services from suppliers not appointed to the Framework Agreement at its sole discretion.
Lot Information
Sterile Sutures and Needles
This Lot includes sutures, haemostats, tissue adhesives, suture needles, skin staplers and wound closure strips.
HaemostatsFlowables and non flowables - fabrics, gauze, sheets, sponges, powders, gels, sprays, snows and sealants. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS25,000,000 to PS29,000,000 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
Tissue AdhesivesTissue adhesives in the use of wound closure. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS8,000,000 to PS9,000,000 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
External Skin Staplers and Staple RemoversExternal skin staplers and staple removers for the use in wound closure. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS1,300,000 to PS1,500,000 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
Wound Closure StripsWound Closure Strips. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of PS600,000 to PS800,000 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.
