Notice Description

We wish to put in place a framework agreement for the provision of helicopter and pilot services. Geographically, the framework will cover all of Scotland, including the islands (with potential for some future work to be carried out in Northern Ireland). The following collaborative partners will also be eligible to use the framework and will each conduct their own call-offs: National Trust for Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland, Scottish Forestry, Forestry and Land Scotland, Association of Deer Management Groups and Scottish Fire & Rescue Service.

Surveillance operations

Surveillance operations will cover the counting and reconnoitring of wildlife and cover visual surveillance and photography (hand held) of forests and woodlands

Renewal: The framework will operate for an initial 20-month period, with the option to extend by a further maximum 24-month period.

Wildlife Management Operations

wildlife management operations will cover the transport of stalkers and the extraction of carcasses

Renewal: The framework will operate for an initial 20-month period, with the option to extend by a further maximum 24-month period.

Fire Fighting Operations

Fire fighting operations will cover aerial support for fire fighting activities

Renewal: The framework will operate for an initial 20-month period, with the option to extend by a further maximum 24-month period.

Aerial Application of Fertiliser

Aerial application of fertiliser will cover aerial application of fertiliser, and possibly pesticides

Renewal: The framework will operate for an initial 20-month period, with the option to extend by a further maximum 24-month period.

Construction, Other Site Works & Staff Transport

Construction, other site works & staff transport will cover construction/works projects and the transportation of staff, often to/from remote locations.
