Notice Description
Windlesham Parish Council intends to appoint a contractor/ multiple contractors to maintain all Parish owned greenspaces both efficiently and cost-effectively, whilst at the same time improving the quality of service and appearance. Prior to commencing the formal procurement exercise and through the publication of this Prior Information Notice, the Council wishes to notify the market of the upcoming opportunity, identify the level of interest, and invite feedback on the proposed commercial model and procurement procedure. Please note: Tender documents are not available at this time. The purpose of this Notice is for pre-procurement market engagement only.

Greenspace (Grounds Maintenance) contract for Windlesham Parish Council
Windlesham Parish Council requires the provision of grounds maintenance services across the villages of Bagshot, Lightwater and Windlesham. The contract/s will include the following services: - Cemeteries, - Greenspace, playgrounds, ponds etc, - Other services such as fly tipping, graffiti, asbestos removal. The Council is considering the following commercial models to deliver these requirements: (i) appointment of a single contractor to deliver all services across the whole parish; (ii) appointment of three contractors: one contractor to deliver all services in each village; (iii) appointment of up to nine contractors: disaggregating the contract by service specifics AND village, with individual contractors appointed to deliver the groups of services set out above in each village only. Additional information: Prior to finalising the commercial model and commencing the formal procurement exercise, through the publication of this Prior Information Notice the Council wishes to notify the market of the upcoming opportunity, identify the level of interest, and invite feedback on the approaches being considered.
