Notice Description

The scope of services provided under this framework relates to when scheme employers are undergoing corporate restructuring, particularly where this involves insolvency proceedings. These arrangements can have long-term repercussions for schemes' employer covenant and funding, and this panel will ensure that trustees access the expertise needed to protect schemes' interests and maximise the likelihood of delivering a viable employer and scheme at the end of the process.

Services include: - Evaluating employer financial strength - Assessing options to include both solvent/consensual restructuring options as well as relevant formal insolvency processes - Advising scheme trustees on appropriate and proportionate ongoing monitoring of the sponsor covenant

Options: Options to extend framework agreement by up to two periods on one year each (2+1+1).

Renewal: The Framework Agreements will be awarded for an initial period of two (2) years. The Framework Agreement may be extended on the same terms and conditions at the Board's option for a further period or periods not exceeding four (4) years in total (2+1+1).
