Since the formation in 2019 of enableNY (North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service) many areas of the Estates are shared by both organisations the vision is to have a collaborative approach to deliver opportunities to reduce costs for multi occupancy buildings. The outcome although in two lots is to have one supplier to support a collaborative approach across both organisations which enhances the ability for North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service as Category 1 responders under the Civil Contingencies Act 2024.",
