Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is exploring the development of a Flexible Purchasing System (FPS) in order to procure hotel or bed and breakfast emergency and temporary accommodation for households who present as homeless or such circumstances which could include, but not limited to, fire damage, flooding, escape of water causing significant property damage require emergency accommodation. The Council wish to invite all hoteliers and bed and breakfast suppliers to a Market Engagement Event to discuss requirements and seek consultation and feedback on proposals., The aim of the Market Engagement Event will be: * For the Council to provide potential suppliers will an update of the Council procurement intentions and context * Provide suppliers with an overview of the proposed service requirements * Enable the opportunity for a discussion with interest parties and explore solutions to address this need The procurement will cover hotels or bed and breakfast accommodation which can be booked by the Council on an ad-hoc basis where there are no alternative options available. The Council may also on occasions need to pre book multiple rooms for a set period to use as required. Single and multiple occupancy rooms in a range of locations, predominantly within the Rotherham Borough may be required. Although there will be occasions the Council will need to place out of the borough to meet individual household needs.
