Notice Description
Hull City Council (The Authority) has set up a framework for Supply of Civil Engineering Products and has appointed MKM Building Supplies Limited as supplier for Lot 1, Lot 2a, Lot 3, Lot 4, Lot 5; Glasdon UK Limited - as secondary supplier for Lot 2a and Clifford Engineering Hull Limited - as supplier for Lot 7. Lot 2b and Lot 6 are not awarded and will be re-tendered. The opportunity was advertised as an open competitive procedure consisting of one stage process. The Authority enters into Contracts for a period of 3 years with the successful Tenderers, with an option to extend for a period of 12 months.
Lot Information
Lot 1. Pre-Cast Concrete
Hull City Council has appointed M.K.M Building Supplies Limited as Supplier for Lot 1 - Pre-cast Concrete (estimated value PS10,000.00 per annum). The Authority enters into the Contract for a period of 3 years with the successful Tenderer, with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Additional information: The contract initial term is 36 months with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. Should the extension option be utilised, this would be an additional PS10,000 value.
Renewal: Will be subject to renewal after contract end date.
Lot 2a. Manchester BollardsHull City Council has appointed M.K.M Building Supplies Limited as Primary Supplier for Lot 2a - Manchester Bollards and Glasdon UK Limited as Secondary Supplier for Lot 2a - Manchester Bollards (estimated value for Lot 2a is PS35,000.00 per annum). The Authority enters into the Contracts for a period of 3 years with the successful Tenderers, with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Additional information: The contract extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. The contract value for Lot 2a is not guaranteed to either of suppliers as it may range from PS0 up to PS105000 throughout duration of the contract as Lot 2a has 2 suppliers (Primary and Secondary), and at this time it is impossible to foresee the split between them

Lot 2b. Other bollards and Guard RailingHull City Council (The Authority) is seeking tenders from interested organisations to supply Civil Engineering Products. The Authority is setting up a framework which will consist of a range of suppliers. The tender is an open competitive procedure consisting of a one stage process. The contract is anticipated to commence 1st June 2025 ending by 31st May 2028. The Authority proposes to enter into Contracts for a period of 3 years with the successful Tenderer (Supplier), with an option to extend for a period or periods of up to a maximum of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. The Authority has estimated the value of the Services/ Goods to be PS475,000 per annum. The estimated value is given in good faith to assist tenderers in making their submissions, it should not be interpreted as an undertaking to purchase any goods, services or works to any particular value by the Authority and does not form part of the Contract. Further information is contained within the tender documentation. Please ensure all tender submission documents are completed as detailed. Incomplete bids will be eliminated from further process. Tenderers are invited to bid for all or any of the following Lots: Lot 1 - Pre-cast Concrete (estimated value PS10,000.00 per annum). Additional information: The contract initial term is 36 months with an option to extend for a period or periods of up to a maximum of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. The number of months in Section II.2.7 does not include the extension. Should the extension option be utilised, this would be an additional PS80,000 value (4 years - PS320,000).

Bagged Aggregates and Cementitious ProductsHull City Council has appointed M.K.M Building Supplies Limited as Supplier for Lot 3 -Bagged Aggregates and Cementitious Products (estimated value PS160,000.00 per annum). The Authority enters into the Contract for a period of 3 years with the successful Tenderer, with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Additional information: The contract initial term is 36 months with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. Should the extension option be utilised, this would be an additional PS160,000 value.

Lot 4. Clay Bricks and Block ProductsHull City Council has appointed M.K.M Building Supplies Limited as Supplier for Lot 4 - Clay Bricks and Block Products (estimated value PS10,000.00 per annum). The Authority enters into the Contract for a period of 3 years with the successful Tenderer, with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Additional information: The contract initial term is 36 months with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. Should the extension option be utilised, this would be an additional PS10,000 value.

Lot 5. Drainage ItemsHull City Council has appointed M.K.M Building Supplies Limited as Supplier for Lot 5 - Drainage Items (estimated value PS55,000.00 per annum). The Authority enters into the Contract for a period of 3 years with the successful Tenderer, with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Additional information: The contract initial term is 36 months with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. Should the extension option be utilised, this would be an additional PS55,000 value.

Additional information: The contract initial term is 36 months with an option to extend for a period of 12 months. Such extension will be at the discretion of the Authority and subject to satisfactory performance. Should the extension option be utilised, this would be additional PS65,000 value.
