Contract Summary
The Provision of Hired Passenger Transport and ad hoc transport services for vulnerable children and adults, young people and for other service areas or schemes that may wish to make use of passenger transport. The services will be provided to meet the needs of: Vulnerable children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are assessed as requiring travel assistance to and from schools, colleges or other destinations. Vulnerable adults who are assessed as requiring travel assistance to and from Day Centres and/or other establishments. Families and service users, who may have specific medical or physical needs and require assisted travel. The Council's staff or other authorised individuals and groups travelling in the course of their duties. Non-SEN and social care service users to schools and other destinations. Service users requiring secure transport to and from court and secure facilities and establishments. Other passenger transport schemes the Council may wish to trial or introduce. The Council's other transport requirements including, but not limited to, the delivery of goods to various locations. The Council has a requirement for: Driver and vehicle only Driver and vehicle with the Council's passenger assistant Driver, vehicle and passenger assistant provided by the Supplier Driver and vehicle with a service user family member / carer/ nurse Supply of ad-hoc drivers and passenger assistants to work on Council vehicles

Contract Summary
The London of Borough of Hounslow requires suppliers that will deliver a range of Passenger Transport Services vehicles with Drivers including but not limited to: cars, people-carriers (MPVs), 9 up to 17 seater minibuses, wheelchair-accessible vehicles (from cars up to 17 seater minibuses), coaches and car derived vans. Some service users require Passenger Assistants during transportation to provide additional support and administer medication, where required. The Council will provide Passenger Assistants for some routes, but also requires suppliers to provide suitable trained Passenger Assistants to meet requirements. Suitable suppliers are invited to a virtual market engagement via Teams. The supplier event will take place on 18th March 2025 at 11am Please email transportoperations@hounslow.gov.uk by 12noon on 14/03/2025 if you are interested in attending. Please ensure SUPPLIER EVENT is in the subject heading This event is being held to provide further information and seek your views regarding our open framework agreement for Passenger Transport. This open framework agreement will be tendered for an Initial period of 4 years with an option of a further 4 years extension, in 12month periods, at sole discretion of the Council.
