Fleet Servicing, Maintenance and Repair
Notice Description
The Council's current maintenance contract is due to expire on 31 July 2025 and as such there is a need for an experienced and competent Contractor/s to maintain, repair, and modify (where necessary) all vehicles and plant. The Council operates a fleet of approximately 230 vehicles which consist of plant equipment including ride mowers, telehandlers and tractors and road going vehicles from small cars, small vans, large vans and HGV including 32Ton refuse collection vehicles operated in conjunction with the Councils Operators Licence. All vehicles are in frequent/constant use and as a local authority, they must be operated legally and cost effectively.

Light Commercial.
Diesel and Petrol, all light commercial vehicles including cars, car derived vans and tippers up to 3500kg GVW.

LOT 2 Commercial and SpecialistThis includes all vehicles over 3500kg GVW, Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCV) and mechanical sweepers.
Renewal: +12 months, +12 months
LOT 3 Electric VehiclesAll light commercial electric vehicles including cars, car derived vans from a variety of manufacturers. Including RCVs once added to fleet.
Renewal: +12 months, +12 months
LOT 4 PlantAll plant and road going plant including trailer mounted plant, road driven ride on mowers up to and including Tractors and Telehandlers.
Renewal: +12 months, +12 months
