USW - Request for Information - Infrastructure Assessment and Strategic Consultancy
Notice Description
The University of South Wales (USW) is in the process of exploring Block and Flex delivery models as part of its 2030 Strategy. This model aims to offer immersive, sequential learning through a combination of block delivery and flexible learning, enhancing student experience and operational efficiency. In order to effectively implement this transition, a comprehensive assessment of the current estate is necessary to ensure the existing infrastructure can support the delivery model. The aim of the exercise is to conduct a feasibility study to assess space utilisation and operational adjustments required to meet the needs of the chosen delivery model. The aim to ro explore - x2 curriculum models, same academic calendar of 30 weeks (6 hours per day over 3 days- 3hrs face to face and 3hrs asyncronus) - To scope the curriculum model(s) within the current USW estate - To provide us with 3-4 year scenario of the curriculum model(s), increasing in the number of courses sequentially by approx. 25% each year. - Scheduling of new course portfolio (25%) carried out by USW staff in scheduling & estates team)
