Notice Information
Notice Title
Electronic Flight Progress Strips (EFPS)
Notice Description
MAG are seeking to invite tenders for a new Electronic Flight Progress Strip System (EFPS) to replace systems at our existing three airports, Manchester, East Midlands and Stansted. In consideration of the 'state of the art' within the market place, at the time of writing this requirement, it is clear that the evolution to an integrated controller work position (ICWP) is the way forward, in order to produce efficiencies and promote safety by enabling controllers to operate in a less cluttered and distracting environment. Primarily, the ICWP is viewed as an integration platform whereby the merging of data from various airports systems, from other vendors, will provide a clearer more efficient workspace for controllers and have the flexibility to permit the evolution of new ways of working. At this stage, it is required that the first delivery of an ICWP/EFPS will occur at Manchester and must include the EFPS functionality. MAG are seeking to establish a framework agreement for ICWP/EFPS to allow Call-Off by each airport; Manchester Airport Plc, Stansted Airport Ltd and East Midlands International Airport Ltd in respect of the supply to each airport. Further information is available in the tender documentation. If you are wishing to express an interest in this opportunity and wish to view the prequalification documents please firstly register your company details on the MAG portal, on the following URL, and select "Register your interest": https://www.magairports.com/work-with-us/procurement-and-contracts/ Once you have registered please email gary.sadler@magairports.com and stephen.thirlwell@magairports.com to advise that you have registered on the Portal. You will then be given access to the project documents via SAP Ariba. Details on how to provide a response to MAG are detailed in the documentation. Bidders must submit their Pre-Qualification Questionnaires via the SAP Ariba Portal.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Options: MAG shall have the option to procure any hardware, software, licences, product upgrades, or services that relate to or are ancillary to the main purpose of the contract notice and / or that are required in order to receive the benefit of the applicable goods or services being procured. In the event that MAG acquires any other airport(s), we reserve the right to potentially procure similar ICWP / EFPS systems for these airport(s) through the resulting framework agreement.
Renewal: Multiple extensions are anticipated. An initial 5 year framework agreement is anticipated with further potential extensions taking it through to 15 years in total. This potential framework length will allow MAG to call off any maintenance and support requirements long beyond the initial implementation at each of the three airports. The extensions may be exercised at MAG's discretion based on a range of factors including business needs and circumstances.
