Notice Description
Network Rail aims to enhance safety and efficiency for railway track workers, passengers, and the public by introducing technology that improves safety controls and work productivity. This involves using application-based technology to provide virtual briefings to staff involved in possession and worksite management via mobile devices. The goal is to increase productivity through extended track access times and streamlined communication, roles, and responsibilities in worksite management. The purpose of this notice is to: • Engage with suppliers to generate interest and prime their resources for the upcoming Tender opportunity. • Provide the market with an update to our latest requirements and commercial position through releasing key documents. • Invite feedback and clarification on the key documents including the following: o Statement of Requirements o Functional and Non-Functional Requirements o Key Performance Indicators o Technological Aspirations and Implementation Please note the responses to this notice will be used for information purposes and will not be deemed as forming part of any proposed bid now, or any future tender. Network Rail reserves the right to engage with individual respondents for further discussion based on information provided through this engagement notice.
