Notice Title
GLA 82835 Euro 2028 Fan Festivals
Notice Description
On behalf of the Greater London Authority (GLA), Transport for London (TfL) are seeking to procure a single supplier for the design, implementation and management of flagship fan festival sites in London for the duration of the UEFA European Football Championship 2028 from 9 June 2028 to 9 July 2028. The contract is expected to be for circa twenty-five months to ensure the successful planning and delivery of this marque event in the Capital. The contract delivery will be managed by the GLA who are working in conjunction with Department of Culture, Media and Sport and UEFA. UK Sport says: "Preparations gather apace as UEFA and UK & Ireland 2028 will deliver the largest sporting event ever jointly staged by the co-host nations with more than three million match tickets available for fans - greater than any previous EURO. The Tournament will excite fans worldwide and create long-lasting benefits for communities through an amazing celebration of top-class international football." This Preliminary Market Engagement Notice (PMEN) is being issued to inform the market of both the intensions to procure and a Suppliers' Briefing meeting on 16/04/2026, via Microsoft (MS) Teams. The Suppliers' Briefing meeting will assist TfL in understanding the current events management supply chain by listening to the market before informing our final go to market strategy. The engagement will be an opportunity for suppliers to express their interest in the opportunity and also register their organisations on the TfL e-procurement system, SAP Business Network. TfL reserves the right to amend our procurement approach.
