Welland Fitness Track
Notice Description
The Parish Council is seeking tenders for the installation of a 2m wide fitness track around the perimeter of our football pitch which will be on a soil base. The total length is 330m. The prefered top material is a rubber/stone mulch to give longevity and durability. But other types of 'soft surface' will be considered. Suppliers should be aware of the track's proximetey to the football pitch which is used mainly by junior players. The surface should be suitable for this location. The Parish Council has no fixed budget in mind and the figure quoted is a guideline. The contract start date is flexible.

The playing fields are in the parish of Welland, Worcestershire WR13 6NE and are available to view. The diagram shows the preferred outline of the track leading from a pedestrian gate near the car park and circumscribing the football pitch. The exact layout of the track can be finalised at a later date but tenders should be based on a length of 330m on a soil base. Tenders should be forwarded to clerk@littlemalvernandwellan-pc.gov.uk and should included details of at least two similar projects that the contractor has completed with reference contact details.
