Domestic, Communal and Commercial Gas Service and Maintenance
Notice Description
The Industrial Dwellings Society (1885) (IDS) Ltd is seeking to procure a qualified Gas contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for its Domestic, Communal and and commercial properties. This includes routine and responsive repairs, safety checks, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The contractor will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining clear communication with residents and IDS, and ensuring the timely completion of all tasks. Bidders are required to demonstrate proven experience in property maintenance, strong project management skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively with IDS and the local community.

Lot 1
Renewal: The Employer, IDS, reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional period of up to two (2) years following the initial three (3) year term, subject to the Contractor's satisfactory performance. Should an extension be agreed, the Employer will provide written confirmation to the Contractor prior to the expiry of the initial contract period.
Planning Information
This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) is intended to inform potential suppliers about an upcoming procurement for residential and commercial gas service and maintenance works. Suppliers wishing to participate should register their interest by contacting the Procurement Manager at cjoe@ids.org.uk. Where appropriate, a Microsoft Teams meeting may be arranged to discuss the proposed specification and potential innovations, including annual gas safety inspections with fire door inspections. Following the conclusion of this engagement, the Client will finalise the procurement strategy and proceed to publish the tender documentation.
