Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process initiated by Wandle Housing Association Limited, located in London, invites bids to establish a contract for the installation, servicing, and repairs of fire systems at WHA residential premises. The tender, titled "WHA FIRE SYSTEMS INSTALLATION, SERVICING AND REPAIRS," focuses on fulfilling obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, adhering to British and industry standards. The procurement falls under the services category, and the projected value is £6,000,000. Key dates include the deadline for clarification questions, set for 23 March 2026, and bid submissions due by 31 March 2026. The contract will run for a period of 48 months starting 1 September 2026. Shared Services for Housing Limited acts as the managing organisation for this tender while Morgan Lambert Limited and New Terra Compliance Ltd are appointed for document development and evaluation.

This tender offers a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in fire safety and maintenance services, particularly those with a focus on firefighting equipment repair and maintenance, as categorised under CPV codes. The open procedure procurement method invites competitive bids, encouraging participation from seasoned providers who can deliver high-quality and cost-effective services. Ideally, businesses that have experience in the installation, servicing, and repairs of fire safety systems, including solar panels and design capabilities, would find this tender beneficial for growth. Moreover, suitable businesses can leverage this opportunity to expand their reach, particularly in servicing central and south-east England regions while adhering to quality and pricing criteria outlined in the evaluation questionnaire. The contract supports SMEs and has a potential risk accommodation protocol that may necessitate contractual modifications if unforeseen factors arise.
