Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process initiated by the Business Services Organisation, Procurement and Logistics Service (BSO) on behalf of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland (HSCNI) is currently in the planning stage. The focus of this process is the preliminary market engagement for services related to the supply, delivery, and removal of Depolluted End of Life Vehicles. The industry category includes special-purpose motor vehicles and other services, with interested suppliers encouraged to participate by completing a questionnaire. Responses must be submitted via the eTendersNI secure messaging area by 15:00 on 12 September 2025. The procurement process is located in Ballymena, United Kingdom, and is identified with CfT Ref: 6113274.

This preliminary market engagement provides significant opportunities for businesses in the automotive service industry, particularly those acting in the removal and processing of end-of-life vehicles. Suppliers who offer services related to special-purpose motor vehicles are well-suited to engage with BSO's market assessment. This engagement could lead to future tendering opportunities, allowing businesses to expand their portfolio with government contracts. Participating in the market engagement process enables businesses to understand potential requirements and align their offerings to meet the needs of HSCNI, creating prospects for long-term business growth.
