Summary of the contracting process

The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime is actively running a procurement process titled "Case File Quality" with a focus on the IT services industry, specifically consulting, software development, internet, and support. This initiative aims at acquiring a comprehensive solution to bolster the quality and efficiency of case file management, enhancing operational policing and compliance with CPS standards. The procurement process is currently active, and it is taking place predominantly in the London region. The key stages of this procurement involve a selective competitive procedure within the Precise Policing Dynamic Market, followed by an Alpha testing phase. Important deadlines include the Procurement Selection Questionnaire release by 6th February 2026, and the response submission deadline set for 13th February 2026, with subsequent phases extending through to March and April of 2026.

This procurement presents significant business growth opportunities, especially for SMEs and VCSEs involved in IT services. Businesses with expertise in scalable software solutions, particularly those that facilitate standardisation and compliance in complex data environments, would be well-suited to participate. Given the procurement's design to streamline police operations through enhanced technology frameworks, entities that offer innovative digital tools and robust IT infrastructure support might find this tender particularly advantageous. Participation in the Precise Policing Dynamic Market is requisite, which aligns with companies focusing on delivering high-quality technological solutions tailored to law enforcement needs.
