The Enhanced Technology Enable Care (TEC) Service is a preventative countywide service which offers digital equipment to promote wellbeing and support the care needs of adults. It involves the continuous, automatic and remote monitoring of real time emergencies and lifestyle changes over time in order to manage and minimise risks associated with independent living. The use of assistive technology such as basic lifeline alarms and other equipment is used to support independent living, avoid admission to hospital, and prevent or delay admission to residential care.

Planning Information

As part of its ongoing work to improve the quality of life, health and wellbeing of residents, Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is reviewing the current approach, effectiveness, and future potential of Care Technology (TEC) as a core tool within Adult Care. Lincolnshire County Council is currently exploring new and innovative ways to collaborate with providers in shaping the future of Enhanced Technology Enable Care (TEC) across the county. We are committed to working in partnership to review current services and identify opportunities for working differently, that will better meet the needs of individuals and communities. At this stage, the future model of TEC is not yet defined. Through this engagement, we aim to gather valuable input from the market to help shape the new service scope. We will be seeking responses via a Pre-market Engagement Questionnaire. Once the questionnaire has been published, we kindly request that responses are returned via the ProContract portal: https://procontract.due-north.com/ by 5pm on the 18th September 2025. If you wish to provide a response after this date, further submissions will be accepted via email at elena.garcia-carretero@lincolnshire.gov.uk until 5pm on 25th September.
