Summary of the contracting process

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in partnership with several London boroughs, is extending a contract for the Client Caseload Information System (CCIS) for Integrated Youth Support Services (IYSS). This extension is under the IT services category and involves consulting, software development, Internet, and support. Initially set for two years beginning in April 2023, the contract allows for a 12-month extension from April 2025 to March 2026. This procurement process aligns with Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts Regulations, permitting such modifications under specific conditions. The project serves the London Boroughs of Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea, with significant activities centered around managing information on young people not in employment, education, or training (NEET).

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses in the IT services sector, particularly those with expertise in delivering software solutions and data management systems for government or educational institutions. Large IT service companies, such as Access UK Limited, which is the active supplier engaged in this process, may find it especially advantageous to participate due to the scale and scope of the project. The contract presents a solid opportunity for technological firms that can provide robust client caseload systems to support youth services across multiple boroughs, offering a pivotal role in government and council service enhancement.
