Summary of the contracting process

The Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) is currently in the planning stage for a strategic partnership opportunity focused on enhancing physical activity among the most inactive individuals. This endeavour falls under the 'services' industry category, with a particular focus on advertising and recreational services. The engagement process is scheduled to close with the submission deadline set for 9:00 am on Monday, 27th October 2025, and aims to be conducted across locations within the United Kingdom, specifically programmed as a contribution in kind rather than a traditional procurement.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in advertising services and digital marketing, particularly those with experience in health and wellness sectors. By partnering with the DHSC, businesses can enhance their portfolio through a high-profile collaboration, potentially reaching millions through the promotion of widespread health and fitness applications. Ideal candidates would include media agencies, digital content creators, and companies proficient in user engagement strategies with the capacity to drive significant user growth for digital platforms. Additionally, this collaboration promises to enhance brand credibility and visibility by associating with a significant public health initiative directly linked to the NHS.
