Summary of the contracting process

The College of Policing Limited, a sub-central government public authority, has recently awarded a contract for "HH Security Improvements," enhancing security infrastructure. The contract involves various tasks such as installing a manual rising arm barrier and performing CCTV and intercom works. The procurement process, classed under works, was conducted using an open and below-threshold competition method. The award stage was completed recently, with Connect Fire & Security Limited as the supplier. The project encompasses multiple regions across the United Kingdom, with key activities occurring between 13th February 2026 and 31st March 2026.

This procurement offers substantial opportunities for businesses in civil engineering, electrical installation, and security systems sectors. Companies specializing in burglar alarms, video surveillance, road furniture, and refurbishment will find growth prospects as they tackle the project demands set forth by the College of Policing. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) well-versed in providing technical and installation services can emerge as key players, given the reserved participation opportunities. The contract allows for flexibility with options for unforeseen project circumstances, further enhancing business potential through supplementary works.
