Summary of the contracting process

The Money and Pensions Service, a public authority under central government, is initiating a procurement process titled "Group Income Protection" aimed at enhancing employee benefits for its staff. This tender falls under the category of services related to insurance and pension services, located in the United Kingdom, specifically the UKH24 region. The process is currently in the tender stage, with the deadline for bid submissions set for 23rd January 2026. The procurement method is open, employing a competitive flexible procedure to engage bidders over two stages, ensuring the quality and cost of proposals are rigorously assessed.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in insurance services to expand their client base by providing group income protection solutions. Companies that can offer competitive pricing and robust coverage are well-suited to compete in this procurement process. The contract is considerable in scale, with a gross value of GBP 600,000 and a potential renewal opportunity extending for up to three additional years. This provides substantial prospects for revenue growth and long-term collaboration with the Money and Pensions Service, especially for firms with expertise in tailoring employee benefit packages that align with organisation-specific requirements. Businesses are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the tender documents available on the Atamis e-portal and prepare detailed proposals that meet the outlined specifications.
