Wiltshire Council are renewing the Highways works framework. The framework allows access to multiple suppliers capable of carrying out specialist highway works who can be called upon to provide these works on an 'as instructed' basis to support the Council with the maintenance of their highway assets and the delivery of their highway service

The provision of contractors able to provide road surface retexturing of existing asphaltic, bituminous and surface dressed roads to increase both the macro and micro texture to restore skid-resistance and extend asset life by means of; - Captive Shot Blasting - Water (Hydro) Jetting
Renewal: Open Framework initial 3 year term + 2+ 3 extension
GROUTED MACADAM - ASPHALTIC AND CEMENTITIOUSLot 2 requires the provision of contractors able to provide grouted macadam treatments to repair, protect and extend the lifespan of the client's road network by means of; - Asphaltic Grout
Renewal: Open Framework - initial term 3 years with 2 + 3 extension
INSITU RECYCLING TO CARRIAGEWAYS AND FOOTWAYSThe provision of contractors able to provide in-situ recycling to restore a failed road, footway or carriageway reusing the existing construction materials to reconstruct a new pavement/footway with the strength and life expectancy of a traditionally designed and constructed pavement/footway.

LABORATORY AND SITE TESTING OF MATERIALSThe provision of contractors able to provide site and laboratory materials testing support to the client to ensure compliance with current British and European Standards in delivering maintenance and new works on the client's highway network.
Renewal: Open Framework - Initial term 3 year 2 + 3 year extension
MINOR CIVIL ENGINEERING AND OTHER WORKSThe provision of contractors able to provide competent resources including materials and plant where required to delivery minor construction projects and specific highways tasks including bridge repairs and maintenance to support the client in delivering its highway service.
Renewal: Documented in the Competency Assessment
ASPHALT PRESERVATION INCLUDING REJUVENATORSThe provision of contractors able to provide surface treatments through the use of preservations and rejuvenators to protect and prolong the life of the client's highway asset. Asphalt Surface Course Preservation This service is required to seal pavements against water and salt ingress and seal in essential oils and resins and slow down the oxidation and embrittlement process. - Penetrative treatments - Non-penetrative treatments

CRACK SEALING REPAIRSThe provision of contractors able to provide crack and joint repairs and reinstatement of existing road surfaces to protect from premature degradation and extend the life of the client's highway asset. - Inlay Crack Seal and Joint Repair systems - Screed - Fill and Overband joint and crack repair systems
Renewal: Open Framework - Iniital term 3 years 2 + 3 years extension
TRAFFIC DATA COLLECTIONThe provision of contractors to collect traffic data to facilitate highway scheme design and policy decision making. Survey types should include manual, automated and video on the highway network including carriageways, footways, footpaths, bridleways and byways.

This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) Notice is being published to inform the wider supply chain, including both existing providers currently contracted with Wiltshire Council and new or prospective providers, Wiltshire Council invites all interested providers, including both existing contract holders and new market entrants with experience or interest in joining the Wiltshire Council Specialist Highway Works Framework. This will be an opportunity for providers to understand the process and the requirements. The Market Engagement will be held on-line via teams on Tuesday 3rd February. We ask all those who wish to attend to email amy.colderick@wiltshire.gov.uk, referencing HE2395_PME Attendance and the name and email address of your attendee, before close of play on Monday 2nd February, and an invite link will be sent.
