NI Water is procuring sludge management equipment and related support for use at its sites in Northern Ireland. The requirement covers the supply, commissioning, maintenance and repair of equipment used to handle, thicken, dewater, convey and process sludge, including equipment for clean-water operations. Eight equipment areas are included: gravity sludge screens, drum thickeners, centrifuge dewaterers, disc thickeners, screw thickeners, screw press dewaterers, screw conveyors and plate presses. The associated service scope includes sewerage, sewage treatment, sludge treatment and disposal activities, alongside sludge-treatment works. This is primarily an equipment supply opportunity, but suppliers must also support commissioning, planned maintenance and repairs across NI Water’s operational sites.
