Notice Description
SSE Services Plc is initiating a regulated tender to establish a Telecommunications Multi-Lot Framework. This framework will create a dedicated pool of specialist providers to support the successful delivery of the T3 programme, as well as ongoing Business-As-Usual (BAU) requirements such as capacity augmentation and backfill. The aim is to ensure robust, reliable, and scalable telecoms support across Transmission, Distribution, and Renewables business units.

Specialist Design - This lot covers advanced design and specialist consultancy services that extend beyond in-house capabilities.* Comprehensive microwave radio engineering survey and design. * In-depth Openreach survey and network design. * Support for telecoms tasks not covered internally. * Direct engagement between Telco and external vendors (e.g. Cisco, others). * Facilitation of supplier relationships and coordination. * Design support for substation telecommunications infrastructure. * Proof-of-concept development involving new hardware and service models. * Vendor Agnostic Design Solutions.
Hardware & Construction - This lot focuses on procurement and physical deployment of telecommunications hardware and infrastructure.* Supply of telecommunications hardware. * Provision of telecoms services and components. * Greenfield construction of substation telecom systems. * Brownfield upgrade and integration of existing substation telecom systems.
