Heating & Water Term Contracts for Repairs & Maintenance
Notice Description
Southwark Council is preparing to procure a suite of contracts for the delivery of repairs, maintenance, and investment upgrades across our heat networks and associated systems. This includes works to: Individual and District (Communal) Heating Systems Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) Contract Cold Water Services (CWS) Temporary Boiler Installations We intend to appoint multiple contractors to cover both the northern and southern regions of the borough, fostering collaboration in support of our commitments to resident wellbeing, climate action, and social value. The proposed contract term is 5 years, with optional extensions of +3 and +2 years.

We hosted market engagement events in mid-October 2025 and invited (via this original notice) expressions of interest from capable and experienced suppliers who wish to attend and contribute feedback. We are now holding a further and final market event via webinar on: Thursday 12th March 2025 11am-12pm If you would like to participate, please contact us at ampt@southwark.gov.uk
