Ceredigion - Museum Display Technician Services / Gwasanaethau Technegydd Arddangosfa Amgueddfa - Ceredigion
Notice Description
Ceredigion County Council is seeking to procure the services of a qualified and experienced supplier to provide specialist museum display technician services for use within Ceredigion Museum, Aberystwyth. This tender aims to appoint a supplier with practical expertise in woodworking, fabrication and decorative works to support the planning, fabrication and installation of permanent museum displays within an historic building. The successful supplier will contribute to display planning, produce bespoke three-dimensional display elements such as object mounts, plinths and display furniture, advise on materials and specifications, and assist museum staff with installation works, ensuring all activities meet current Health and Safety standards and good museum practice. The estimated value is between PS8,000 and PS12,000 for the full term of the contract. Please note that the contract value provided within this notice represents an estimate prepared by the Council. It is issued for guidance only and does not constitute a fixed budget or an indication of the expected contract price. Bidders are expected to submit a competitive bid based on market prices. Mae Cyngor Sir Ceredigion yn ceisio caffael gwasanaethau cyflenwr cymwys a phrofiadol i ddarparu gwasanaethau technegydd arddangosfeydd amgueddfa arbenigol i'w defnyddio yn Amgueddfa Ceredigion, Aberystwyth. Nod y tendr hwn yw penodi cyflenwr sydd ag arbenigedd ymarferol mewn gwaith coed, gwaith cynhyrchu a gwaith addurnol i gefnogi cynllunio, cynhyrchu a gosod arddangosfeydd parhaol amgueddfa o fewn adeilad hanesyddol. Bydd y cyflenwr llwyddiannus yn cyfrannu at gynllunio arddangosfeydd, yn cynhyrchu elfennau arddangos tri dimensiwn pwrpasol fel mowntiau gwrthrychau, plinthiau a dodrefn arddangos, yn cynghori ar ddeunyddiau a manylebau, ac yn cynorthwyo staff yr amgueddfa gyda gwaith gosod, gan sicrhau bod yr holl weithgareddau'n bodloni safonau Iechyd a Diogelwch cyfredol ac arfer da amgueddfa. Mae'r gwerth amcangyfrifedig rhwng PS8,000 a PS12,000 ar gyfer tymor llawn y contract. Noder bod gwerth y contract a ddarperir yn yr hysbysiad hwn yn cynrychioli amcangyfrif a baratowyd gan y Cyngor.
