Summary of the contracting process

New Forest District Council is undertaking a procurement process to establish a Multi-Contractor Framework Agreement for Minor Works related to Residential Housing Maintenance, set to take place between 2026 and 2030. The council, located in Lyndhurst, United Kingdom, is in the planning stage and will host an Open House event on 14th April 2026 at Appletree Court. This engagement aims to gather insights from contractors about the redevelopment of the Minor Works Framework, which covers a range of services in construction work. The framework will consist of multiple lots focusing on areas such as roofing, electrical works, and plumbing, with projects expected to commence from 1st July 2026.

This tender presents significant opportunities for contractors, particularly SMEs, interested in expanding their footprint in the construction industry. By participating, businesses can contribute valuable feedback to shape the tender's structure, ensuring it reflects contractor needs and capabilities. The framework offers flexibility with a potential extension to 2030 and promises streamlined procurement, enhancing the quality and timely delivery of works. Companies specialising in building, repairs, and maintenance can leverage this framework to secure new business, develop competitive advantages, and establish collaborative ties with the council for potentially lucrative contractual opportunities.
