Procurement Information

Scottish Water (SW) intends to purchase DWQR/DWI approved membranes and ancillary parts, equipment, installation and maintenance of membranes from Dupont de Nemours Inc as required to suit SW business needs. Dupont de Nemours Inc are the manufacturer of the membranes. SW will purchase these membranes and services via the manufacturer's nominated distribution route for the products and services. Currently the manufacturer's sole UK distributor is FilmTec Water UK Ltd (previously Specialty Electronic Materials Ltd). The purchase of these membranes and ancillary services will enable Scottish Water to continue to meet its regulatory requirements to provide safe drinking water which complies with DWQR regulations by utilising DWI compliant membranes in its water treatment works. The products can only be provided by the stated supplier due to the exclusive rights of supply that is held by them and the requirement for DWQR/DWI compliance.
