Summary of the contracting process

Public Services Delivery Scotland, part of NHS Scotland’s common services, procured an integrated ERP client-side partner for Scotland’s 21 Health Boards. The partner supports implementation of a new ERP system replacing existing payroll, human resources, finance and procurement systems, as well as the resulting changes to staff and working practices. The work is divided into two service areas. Technical and Commercial covers technical and commercial support for the programme, including reviewing, assessing and assuring the Systems Integrator’s work on ERP design and implementation. People and Service Design covers the common operating model, change management, programme management, implementation oversight, training support, and people and culture advice during roll-out. Delivery is across Scotland. The procurement is for IT consulting and support services.

The procurement has been awarded and contracts are active. Capgemini was selected for both service areas, with contracts signed on 19 August 2026. The Technical and Commercial contract is valued at £10 million; the People and Service Design contract is valued at £3 million.
