Summary of the contracting process

The Salvation Army Housing Association has initiated a tendering process for fire safety servicing and maintenance contracts, divided into three geographic lots: North, London and South East, and South West. This procurement endeavour falls under the services category and employs an open procedure, offering extensive opportunities for involvement. The procuring entity, Faithorn Farrell Timms, oversees the process from their Orpington office. Key dates include the tender submission deadline on 29th May 2026, and the award period concluding on 14th September 2026, with contracts potentially extending for seven years following satisfactory reviews.

This procurement opportunity provides a significant prospect for businesses specialised in repair and maintenance services of electrical and mechanical building installations. It's especially suitable for SMEs and VCSEs looking to expand their regional presence in the United Kingdom. Contractors will find lucrative opportunities within sectors like electrical installation work and maintenance of firefighting equipment, with substantial contract values on offer. Participation is encouraged across all designated regions, with a focus on delivering quality service and optimal pricing as per the award criteria. Successful bids could lead to sustained growth and long-term engagements under favourable contract terms.
