Original Direct Award abandoned after a successful legal challenge and therefore this interim contract has been put in place to ensure service continuity and patient safety while a compliant procurement is currently undertaken. The contract start date is 1st April 2026 for 12 months but the contract can be broken during the 12 months if the compliant procurement is completed and implementation can be achieved before the 31st March 2027.
